Who writes them
The guides on this site are written and kept up to date by the Notey team at AInject, LLC, the company that makes Notey. Notey is a meeting notetaker for the Mac: it records your microphone and what your Mac plays as two separate tracks and transcribes them on the Mac.
No guide is credited to a single person. They are the team's work, the team corrects them, and the team answers for them.
How they are written
- The answer comes first. A guide answers the question it is named after near the top, and says so when the better answer is a tool other than Notey.
- Facts about Notey come from Notey. From the app as it ships, the landing page and the privacy policy. Nothing that is planned is described as if it had shipped.
- Other products are described from their own documentation, linked, and dated with the month it was checked. The guides do not quote other companies' prices.
- Guides about the law cite the law — the statute, the regulation or the regulator — and are general information, not legal advice.
- Every number has a source the guide names.
Dates and corrections
Every guide shows the date it was first published and, when its content changed, the date it was last updated. The same dates are in each page's structured data and in the guides feed.
If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, write to hello@ainject.com with the page's address. It will be checked, corrected, and re-dated.
